Cleansing towlettes are my preferred method of makeup removal, so I was 'wild' about getting to try the new CosBar for Target cleansing towlettes in Blueberry. Purple leopard print packaging? Yes please.
When you open the plastic casing, there's a protective sticker that reads "beauty is art." I couldn't agree more! The sticker can seal the opening after each use, which will help to preserve the wipes' moisture. The back of the packaging has ingredients, which I've listed below.
Wipes: 70% Viscose / 30% PFT Ingredients: Water, Propylene
Glycol, Cetearyl Isononanoate, Phenoxyethanol, Diazolidinyl Urea,
Ceteareth-20, Ceteryl Alcohol, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Disodium
Cocoamphodiacetate, Disodium EDTA, Fragrance, Glyceryl Stearate, Aloe
Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Ceteareth-12, Cetyl Palmitate, Citric Acid.
The CosBar wipes are soft and durable, as you'd expect from a facial wipe. They're a thinner material when compared to my usual thick Kirkland wipes. There is a faint and pleasant blueberry scent you can smell while wiping. As expected, they do remove my foundation effectively. Side note and tip: I usually add eye makeup remover to my wipes at the end and use the soft fibers to remove eye makeup. The wipe fluid didn't seem to bother my sensitive skin much, which was noteworthy. (I still wash my face after wipe use though.) Although I typically don't use wipes to refresh or cleanse my face during the day, you could use these during a gym or beach trip to freshen up.
Overall, the CosBar for Target cleansing towlettes in Blueberry are an aesthetically pleasing and functional addition to my cleansing arsenal. (They also happen to match nicely with my new CosBar at Target cosmetics pouch). In addition to blueberry, there are cucumber and orange scents in their respective colored packaging. Are you a facial wipe person too? What do you use them for? Have you picked up anything from the CosBar at Target beauty collection?
Love, Dovey

So good to know. Love cheap products that work well. Target's the best.
ReplyDeleteThanks GB!
DeleteI use the Yes to Cucumber wipes too. They're cheaper at Wal-mart than Target. I like them for when I'm not wearing makeup and feel sweaty, but am waiting to take a shower (like a stay-home-and-clean day) and they take makeup off really well.
ReplyDeleteHi Slitlily; I like the YTC towlettes too! I've tried them in the past although I don't use them currently.
DeleteYes! I use wipes or Bioderma Crealine, or Boscia Makeup Breakup Cool cleansing oil and my skin has never been better :) I wish I had known all those years that most rinse-off cleansers don't get all your makeup off!
ReplyDeleteHi Sarah, thanks for sharing all those products. I really want to try a Bioderma! I also wish I'd known that the last traces of foundation are so stubborn!
DeleteI use Deliplus wipes and also there are a couple of brands I've tried that are sold here in Spain that are quite good. Overall, I think they do a nice job for on-the-go, but personally, I need to pair them with a liquid makeup remover.
ReplyDeleteI use Garnier's Fresh Essentials Makeup Remover, all over my face and then I put on some on my lashes while I do other things such as brushing my teeth, so that the mascara has time to melt and soften, and then I take my wipes and take it all off!
It works SO much better than wipes on their own!
Hi Maria, Thanks for the great tip! I just saw the Garnier product in the aisles the other day. I should try soaking more from now on, I hadn't thought of that before :)
DeleteHave tried all the Yes To wipes and founded they irritated me - the only wipes that don't make me red and tight are Loreals Revitalift (the red and white ones) wipes - and they have an awesome smell.
ReplyDeleteThough blueberry DOES sound delicious...
I picked up the purple leopard tweezers. I do love a good makeup removal wipe, so I'll check this out next time I'm at Target.
