LUSH Fair Trade Foot Lotion review

I love pink and I love mint. Lush Fair Trade Foot Lotion happens to be both pink and pepperminty! Win! Mint is the one plant I grow every year; I think it's great in fresh, tea, and lotion form. LUSH Fair Trade foot lotion actually contains two different mint oils to cool the feet: peppermint and spearmint. When applied, I get a mild tingly and cooling sensation. The texture is just right; it's thick for a lotion, but not quite a cream. There's a good bit of cocoa butter (fair trade cocoa butter to be exact) in it, which is yet another ingredient I can never get enough of. LUSH Fair Trade Foot Lotion has a good balance of conditioning without being overly oily. It sinks in at a good speed so I don't have to walk around with greasy feet. At the same time, the cocoa butter will definitely soften your feet. For reference, if you're familiar with Burt's Bees products, this is significantly less oily and deep conditioning than the Coconut Foot Cream, but more conditioning and less pepperminty than Burt's Peppermint Foot Lotion. Like I said, it's a good balance.

Overall, I'm a fan of my LUSH Fair Trade Foot Lotion. Mint, cocoa butter, and pink are always good in my book. If you're looking for a little pep (permint) in your step, it's worth a try! Thanks for reading! Have you tried LUSH Fair Trade Foot Cream? What are your favorite foot treatment products? Do you prefer heavier, lighter, or no foot creams in the summer?

Love, Dovey

  1. I do enjoy this one. I love using LUSH lemony flutter cuticle butter on my feet best, though! It is so moisturizing!

    1. Hi Canadian Beauty, I've only tried Lemony Flutter in store, but I know it's so popular for nails in general!

  2. I like lotions that aren't too strong in scents. I believe this one should be lighter than other lush's scents, am I right? :) Looking at the pink color makes me wanna scream "cute"!

    1. Hi Memoiselle, you're right, it is not too fragranced (for LUSH). I can go either way with scents. Light or heavy is good by me!

  3. Ooh you make me want this--but it's so against everything I believe in! If I need a foot cream, I will run to CVS and that's good enough. I don't even splurge on my haircare, let alone a foot cream! I actually HATED the Burts Bees coconut foot cream--I definitely thought it had a very strange consistency and it felt like it didn't actually hydrate my skin but instead just formed a kind of protective layer over it similar to rubbing Vaseline on your feet or something. I much prefer the Honey & Bilberry one (if they still make that...)

    1. Hi Becca, The coconut foot cream is sooooo thick! I did like the feeling afterward but it took forever to sink in. There's nothing wrong with CVS--- I also have a collection of great drugstore items too!

    1. Hi Claire, eep! Maybe it's best to stay away then. Perhaps it's the fragrances? I haven't tried the body powders, but I shoudl look into them now!

  5. Love it! Usually the minty creams are always green tinged so it's nice to see them pink, very cute. I love peppermint and spearmint, in tea and anything else too :)

  6. I might have to try this. I usually use my Lemony Flutter on my heels right before bed, but my husband HATES the smell and always complains. Maybe he'll like peppermint better.

    1. Hi Grace, that's so interesting! For some reason I imagined that the smell of lemons would be more popular than mint! That said, I do like both :)

  7. I have a small sample of this that I'm going to save for a pamper after I move myself into school! I've used this before, and I think it's one of my favorite products Lush makes!

  9. sounds lovely!
i only used foot cream in colder months and any cream would do the job as long as i don't forget to put it on, but minty & pink foot cream would actually make it easier for me to remember! :)

    1. Hi Lena, I'm pretty lazy about it in the summer too. It's good if I can just remember to use lotion!

  10. I need a foot cream all year round. This one looks really great. How is the scent? Really pepperminty? sometimes lush's scents are just too much for me

  11. Hi Krystie, Thanks for commenting! The scent is milder than most LUSH scents; it's mostly minty. That said, I'm a strong scent lover so perhaps it's just mild for me!

  12. This sounds like a great summer moisturizer for day time. I like to use really heavy and rich creams for night. :)
