For Fall 2012, Too Faced released a smooth new lipstick line in their Art of Sexy collection. The Too Faced La Crème Color Drenched Lip Creams have a pigmented and creamy formula with moisture rich lotus flower and power peptides. The collection consists of sixteen beautiful new colors that I'm excited to showcase for you today.
The Too Faced La Crème lip colors are organized into four groups: nudes, spices, pinks, and reds. You can see the color-coordinated dots on the packaging above. The pink box is too pretty, with fanciful patterning that includes a white peacock, a white rabbit, and a tree full of flowers. I plan on keeping the packaging; it's too pretty to toss, plus it helps to keep things organized.
I've taken photos of the lipsticks up close so you can get a better idea of their individual nuances. They're grouped into four categories, as I mentioned above. The Too Faced La Crème Nudes include: Naughty Nude, Naked Dolly, Nude Beach, and In the Buff.
The Too Faced La Crème Spices lipsticks include: Spice Spice Baby, Cinnamon Kiss, Honey Bear, and Sweet Maple.
The Too Faced La Crème Pinks include: Marshmallow Bunny, Razzle Dazzle Rose, Juicy Melons, and Fuchsia Shock.
The Too Faced La Crème Reds include: I Want Candy, Coral Fire, Stiletto Red, and Divine Wine.
I've swatched each of the Too Faced La Crème lipstick colors below. First up are the 'Nudes' and 'Spices.' Naughty Nude is a light nude with pink tones. Naked Dolly is a pale pink peach. Nude Beach is a pale pink. In the Buff is a warm beige nude that is of similar intensity to Naughty Nude. Spice Spice Baby is a light-medium with brown tones. Cinnamon Kiss is medium spiced pink. Honey Bear is a medium mauve brown. Sweet Maple is a plum brown.
The Too Faced La Crème 'Pinks' and 'Reds' are swatched below. Marshmallow Bunny is a pale cool pink. Razzle Dazzle Rose is a light cool rose pink. Juicy Melons is a light pink coral. Fuschia Shock is a beautiful bright fuchsia pink. I Want Candy is a medium pink coral. Coral Fire is a medium coral. Stiletto Red is a neutral classic red. Divine Wine is a classic bordeaux.
The new Too Faced La Crème collection is very much 'la crème de la crème' of Too Faced's lip color line. The line has a gotten a lot of love from other bloggers and I can see why. The formula is smooth and comfortable for a 'cream' formula lipstick. The finish has a glossy shine, so you could easily skip the lip gloss application step in the morning. What I like best is the color range. The selection is vibrant, modern, and has all the basics. My favorites would be the nudes (you know me), though I found deeper colors like Fuchsia Shock and Bordeaux to be quite beautiful as well. Thanks for reading! Have you tried Too Faced La Crème lipsticks? Which colors stand out to you? Do you like creamy lipstick formulas?

Thank you so much pdxbeautiful! I agree :)Delete
Last time I commented on how I had ordered one as a gift and one for myself. Well they arrived and now I can confidently say I LOVE them. The packaging is luxe, adorable, girly, classy, etc. etc. They truly are high quality lipsticks :) I am extremely tempted to get one more. xxReplyDelete
Hi Coco, Thank you so much for stopping by again! I'm also so happy to hear that you loved Juicy Melons! I hope your giftee loves Fuschia Shock as much as I do :)Delete
The Spices and Pinks groups stand out to me (they're all so pretty I couldn't pick just one!). I haven't tried these yet but your swatches are tempting me to pick one (or a few) up :)ReplyDelete
Very beautiful colors.. I love all colors on the nude range.. <3ReplyDelete
Hey Dovey! So sorry to hear this is happening! Here is my original comment:ReplyDelete
Wow, this is insane! I suspect a lot of shades are really nude or my lips but better for me, and they look so gorgeous lining up!
I've been having some problems with Google as well. I'm not very sure if it's because I went dot com and it is now entirely new for Google, and they're less inclined to pull pictures from the site. I'm really hoping things will go back to normal soon. I started blogging because I wanted (and still want) to share. There's no point if people can't find me properly!
Seems like I would absolutely love the nudes in this line! Specifically Naughty Nude! Thanks for reposting girl :)ReplyDelete
Aww Dovey, I hope the glitch stops happening for you. :(ReplyDelete
Here is my original comment:
SOOOO MANY COLORS! I really really just might have to pick one of these up. Or two. And you're right, the packaging is just *too* pretty to toss!
Sorry that happened to you Dovey :( <3ReplyDelete
They look very glossy and moisturizing. Fuchsia shock and stiletto red stand out to me the most. I never had any TF lip products but those look delicious. You had me by 'creme de la creme' ... I think I have to swatch at least one of those colours :) / Claire
Honey Bear, Cinnamon Kiss, Sweet Maple - darker brownier pinks - are looking oh so good. But I these will have to wait 'til 2013 SPRINGReplyDelete
In the Buff, Juicy Melons, and Fuchsia Shock all look lovely. I don't know why I never swatch these for myself when I'm at the store, but I need to make a point of it next time I'm there. I really do prefer more opaque formulas, so these sound right up my alley.ReplyDelete
Hi Alison, Thank you so much for the comment! I love your choices--- they're colors I enjoy very much myself too! I would love to hear your thoughts if you do get around to swatching them.Delete
I do not care for two or three step cover process on lips.ReplyDelete
these look creamy and shiny: double goodness:)
i think i could use at least a half of the collection above if not all.
thanks for the wonderful swatch.
Hi Sarah, thank you so much for the comment! I'm so glad you enjoyed the swatches; I think you bring up a good point about the colors. I'm all for skipping an extra step if it saves me time!Delete
These look beautiful!ReplyDelete

Whoa! Dovey these lippies seem so perfect. How am I going to choose? I guess I will need to visit a store to give them a test run.ReplyDelete
Hi Michelle, Thanks for the comment! I would love to hear which shades you end up liking :)Delete
They look creamy and sheer. I don't normally reach for sheer but these I might just do. Thank you for the amazing swatches.ReplyDelete
Hi Jo Jo, They do have some sheerness to them! Thank you so much for the nice comment :)Delete
