Essie Lovie Dovie nail polish review + comparison swatches
I've coveted Essie Lovie Dovie for quite some time now --- after all it has a really great name, right? I've finally been able to add it to my collection, thanks to Essie, and have a review and swatches to share with you today! Essie Lovie Dovie is a light-to-medium pink creme that looks a lot like a vintage barbie slipper. OPI I Think In Pink nail polish is a much lighter pink than Essie Lovie Dovie. L'Oreal Trust Fund Baby is a warmer redder pink with shimmer. NARS Trouville (reviewed here) is a lighter and significantly warmer pink.
Overall, I'd have to say Essie Lovie Dovie is a fun, girly pink. I'll definitely be adding it to my pink pedi rotation in the upcoming summer months! Thanks for reading! What Essie nail colors have you been loving lately? What are your favorite bright pinks?
Disclosure: This post contains product(s) sent to Cute and Mundane for consideration. The ideas and opinions in this post are genuine and my own.

I used to be a huge Essie fan but when I went cruelty free I had to stop buying Essie. I am liquidating my stash... Feel free to check my blog sale out maybe you will find something you like; I have a bunch of pinks from their 09 Summer Collection.ReplyDelete
Such a great shade for you, Dovey ;) It's a happy summer pink! I've been wearing Chanel Fracas for my happy summer pink! Seriously tempted by some of the new Essie shades, but I'm on a bit of a low buy so I'm trying to be good :)ReplyDelete
Haha, I would have thought Essie custom-made it for you if you didn't say anything! It's so perfect that it can almost be the Cute and Mundane mascot. :DReplyDelete
Great summer pedi color and the name is perfect! :)ReplyDelete
