Package from Best Things in Beauty

Happy Friday everyone! Today I'm sharing the contents of a wonderful package I received from Charlestongirl of Best Things in Beauty. Recently, I won Charlestongirl's Sunday Riley Prismasilk Eye Color in Moon Dust giveaway. You can imagine how excited I was to win; Sunday Riley is a brand I would not have had the chance to try otherwise! When I opened the package, I was delighted to find surprise treats inside:
1. Tom Ford Lavender Palm eau de parfum - the scent is unlike anything I have. I smell what I imagine to be a crisp earthy palm with a hint of the low key lavender. This is definitely not my usual, but I'm intrigued and find myself going back to sniff my wrists.
2. Sunday Riley Prismasilk Eye Color in Moon Dust - I'm not allowed to touch this until I get swatches. I'll try to work on that this weekend.
3. Chanel Le Blanc Brightening moisturizing creme - can't wait to try this. My face has recently been ravaged by a new found food allergy, so I'm waiting til things settle down before trying this treasure. The lotion has such a perfect lotion smell and I love brightening products in general.
4. Benefit "that gal" brightening face primer - I'm so happy to get Benefit samples. Even their minis have cute packaging! Benefit is a brand I'd love to dip a toe into.
5. Benefit High Beam - I've been wanting to try this for ages, and a mini is perfect since only a little is required. I blended out a swipe on my right cheek; it is a major highlight. High beam is the perfect descriptor.
I'm all smiles after opening my package. Every little piece is something I'm looking forward to trying. Thank you Charlestongirl for your generosity. I'm really over the moon with Moon Dust and the rest of my new goodies!

Thanks for reading! Have you tried any of the pieces shown here? Have you tried Sunday Riley? What are your favorite Benefit products?

Love, Dovey

  11. Congrats Dovey! :) Looking forward to seeing your reviews on some of these, too. One of my favourite products from Benefit is their Benetint Lip Balm. It's quite hydrating and leaves a lovely sheer, red tint on lips.

I can't wait for your reviews on these products. I have Benefit's Watt's Up highlighter, and I love the color. I am curious to get my hands on other highlighters though. I love to mix it up!

  15. I am always on the search for a good brightener to combat sun damage and ward off dullness. It's difficult to find one that actually works and doesn't irritate my sensitive skin. So far, so good using The Lady Soma Renew Serum! It's provides light but adequate hydration for my skin and definitely perks up my complexion. My skin tone looks brighter and more even toned immediately after applying it. Too early to tell if it's really treating my skin on a deeper level but I am happy with the instant results. No redness, dryness or clogged pores so far either, so it's a keeper.

What really sold me on this Lady Soma Serum (other than promising sound of the ingredients) was the heavenly scent.
